A medium textured, brilliant green grass with medium width blade. It is the basic grass seed in Mixtures Plant in heavy, well drained soils with good fertility. During its growth period, it needs a good supply of water. It does well in drought (after maturity) because of its ability to go dormant during hot, dry periods.
